It's funny how I'll probably be posting more stuff on here, now that I've graduated and I have more time in my hands (not that it really matters to anybody). Or not. I dunno. But I do want to start blogging more often--whether I use this one or I create a new one is all up in the air though.

I'm gonna be posting my illustration class work on this blog from now on. I'm glad that I'm taking this class because it pretty much forces me to draw more, and I really needed that to get myself going this semester... It's a lot of work, but I'm enjoying it so far :D

Animation Project

It's a wonder how audio can change the impact of a video so much..

I wasn't done with the animation when I uploaded this 3 days ago (hence the missing audio and the bg on some of the scenes), but I'm rendering/uploading the complete version right now. Finally. So this video is to be replaced with the updated version later in the next couple of hours along with a formal creative brief.
It's disappointing how I didn't get to finish this even when I didn't really procrastinate for it, and I thought I got this -_- But I feel like I've gotten a lot more comfortable using AfterEffects and filming with green screen now, so at least I learned something out of it, right?

I didn't get to upload the complete rough video on Friday, so I made more gifs instead to show the progress. I have more scenes done, but I haven't made those as gifs yet, so I only have these to show for now. I think I'm almost done though.. I just have a few more scenes that I have to animate. I've already picked out the BGMs, so the video making part shouldn't take too long.

Please excuse my terrible handwriting--or should I say, "I'm sorry for writing in Japanese"? I knew that I was going to be posting these on here, but I guess I was really sleepy and forgot about that or something when I first started working on this.. This is more like a self-memo. It probably doesn't make any sense to other people because it's so messy, but at least I can understand what's going on?

corresponds to #9 on the storyboardYes, I do have more animations done. No, I'm not going to make them as gifs because it takes too long to make them, and I'd rather spend that time making the actual animation on After Effects using the camera tool instead of the move tool on Photoshop.

You know what's sad? I used to blog like all the time, and I actually had a LiveJournal that I updated almost everyday; in fact, I still have it--it's just that I never use it anymore. I should get back to the habit of writing something daily again... Maybe that'll motivate me to work on my stuff more.

This is what I had on Wednesday.. It doesn't look like this anymore though. It was just a rough animation just to get my idea down. I've been on my computer since, day and night, working on some animations that only last for like.. 5 seconds (literally) LOL so sad ;________;
BECAUSE YOU ONLY GET TO SEE LIKE A SECOND OF THIS (literally).
